The SciLands classroom web site provides examples of activities and resources available to educators wishing to participate in Second Life’s SciLands region. The web site uses an open source learning management system (LMS) called “Moodle.” Course content is currently under development with the ultimate goal being to bridge the gap between the 2-D and traditional course material with the new 3-D space in SciLands.
