Spaceport Alpha Moves to SciLands

As of about 10 p.m. Eastern Time last night, 16 Feb 2007, ISM’s Spaceport Alpha has been relocated to the SciLands area, just south of Science School island. With luck, Spaceport Bravo and NASA’s Space CoLab won’t be far behind, but it all depends on the Linden Lab grid monkey’s queue, and the speed with which various island owners respond to moving confirmation queries from the Concierge.

Visitors have been able to find Alpha without any problems. The large map has been updated, so it is possible to teleport there directly. People who were on neighboring islands when the move occurred were certainly surprised, though!
